It´s the season for halter training weanlings

May 3, 2020

We are busy working with a lot of young horses born in 2019 these days.  It is rewarding work as those youngsters learn very fast at this time in their age.  We teach them basic manners such as being caught and haltered, being led, and they lurn to be free schooled in a small arena.  Through all of this work, we evaluate the temperament of the young horse, how quickly it is learning, and how calm or reactive it is and how confident.  In the end of a training program which is usually around 10 - 14 days long, the owner has a horse that knows all basic manners, and a written evaluation of the temperament, movements, and conformation.  Do you have a youngster that would benefit from learning some basics?   Contact us and we fit your horse in the program.
