Training of young stallions

November 4, 2020

Now is a great timing to halter train young stallions since their hormones are not interfering with behavior as much as at other times of the year. This month, November, we will dedicate to work with young stallions, and we encourage you, if you have a horse that is boarded here to contact us if you want him trained.  Young stallion training typically involves ca 2 weeks of handling, and in the end we evaluate the gaits, the conformation and the temperament of the horse in order to be able to describe him as precisely as possible to the owner.   Of course the description is in writing, and if you can not come to see the horse at the end of the training, we will send you a video.  Please contact us for more information.  The price for two weeks of training, including evaluation and a video clip in the end costs 49.600 ISK.   We strongly recommend this training every year for stallions.  Please note that some horses don´t need a full two weeks while others benefit from a longer time.   That mostly depends on the temperament of the horse.  Please contact us for further information.
