Diljá is big and handsome, four gaited mare. Not much trained, but enough for us to know her qualities.

Diljá is a big and handsome mare with a lot of presence. Her neck is very long and arched, and the topline is unusually muscled and strong. Her proportions are balanced and the movements are big. When we bought Diljá she was already 11 years old, and then she was the fattest horse we had ever seen. She had not really been doing anything special, except eating! And that she was very good at! When it was raining, the water stopped on her back in the holes that were created by the extra layers of fat. We trained her a little bit to get to know her, and her gentle temperament made the training an easy task. We however, due to her age decided just to breed her and not put the work into showing her. We like the color as well, and are excited to see her first foal in our possession in the spring of 2009.
