Þrúður frá Holtsmúla 1 is a new mare in our broodmare herd

Each year it is always exciting to see if some of our mares "graduate" from being in training and progress to earn a place in our herd of brood mares. This year one mare from out of our training stable made it to FIZO and did quite well. Her name is Þrúður frá Holtsmúla 1, and she is out of Skýr frá Skálakoti and our first prize Andvari daughter Þula frá Hofi.
Þrúður is five gaited, has big strides and a handsome conformation. She scored almost first prize, or 7,95 in FIZO and has now been bred to the amazing stallion Amadeus frá Þjóðólfshaga for a 2021 foal.
